I have a new macbook pro which I'm trying to boot into knoppix 5.1.
It hangs during boot at "Looking for CD in: /dev/hda". I'm fiddling
with various boot options, like apic=off, but at best I can make it
freeze sooner; once it dropped to a shell saying "can't find KNOPPIX
filesystem". Google doesn't find anyone with booting issues - mostly
people are asking about support for various bits of hardware.
Anyone have some tips?
