Cute. I was, however, referring to the NETFILE .tax file format. (the
file you upload on CRAs website to submit your return.) It looks pretty
parseable, but entirely different from TurboTax's save format. I find
it inexcusable that our government does not provide a free way to
electronically submit our tax returns. Only "approved" applications are
allowed to generate this .TAX file. Quicktax has reduced the number of
allowable returns to 2 this year. (was 6 only a few years ago) I'm
doing my taxes on paper this year for the first time in a decade.
