Well, last time I was at a meeting there was talk about how shaw had
changed their policy towards traffic on port 25 smtp. At the time I was
encouraged by shaw to drop everything and book it over to hanselman and
pick up a docsis modem and then I could send emails to the world out port
25. I am just getting things rolling here now, I move slow sometimes. I
just finished filling out a form of www.spamhaus.org to remove my single
IP address from their PBL.
Has anyone else out there setup an outgoing email server using the shaw
static IP addresses since the "blocking port 25" change and found any
other RBLs that should be notified. Please note that I have had shaw
setup a reverse dns record for my static IP.
Thanks.
