FWIW, as I recall, those examples were "clock multiplied" and actually
had, respectively, a 25MHz and 33MHz crystal. (Usually oscillators,
too, not simple crystals.) If you could find one of the rare 486DX50s
(not DX2-50) it would have a 50MHz, and the early pentiums would have 60
and 66MHz oscillators. Pentiums beyond that were also clock multiplied
and soon after that boards starting coming with "clock generator" chips
instead of crystal oscillators. I think you'll have a hard time finding
90 to 107MHz crystals on scavanged motherboards.
