Hello to all.

Just wondering if anybody has any experience with raid0 and opinions
on using such.

I just purchased a new box with an Asus P5N32-E SLI mb and a Q6660
quad core cpu, and a couple of WD 500 drives. The mb supports raid.

Friend of mine put the box together and installed windows using
raid0. I have been using Sidux for a couple of years, and attempted
to install same onto partitions we created, however, sidux did not see
them of course.

I have been googling for the weekend now, and have not come up with
much about using raid on a windows and linux setup.

And so I am wondering if anyone has any experience, and opinions on
the subject.

And note, that while I have been using linux for two years (Mepis
before Sidux) am not that experienced in the under the hood workings
of linux.
