RE: Offering training on Linux boxes - softer market now?

No reason except it hasn't happened yet, and I haven't had the bux in the
past and not sure even now if have. Lastly, I am not autodidactic. I
require lesson plans, regular tests and assignments, and graduated learning.
"free learning" just leaves me confused. I need a curriculum.
Now if someone has the ability and inclination to do this and the charge is
affordable I'd go for it. However, I sincerely doubt there's any teachers
that bored or desperate.
There might be someone just starting out that would offer classes of this
sort in their living room to a small group of students who bring their own
computers or something. I dunno.

Why not just have someone come over to your place and teach you?

Just so you know, I'm interested in learning, but don't need certification.
I don't want to learn for career but personal use.

Not that it is required, but do you have any credentials in Linux that would
allow you to issue certifications from established institutes or
organizations, other than just a "has attended" certificate ?

Do you have any industry experience in a Linux environment ? I do believe
that a Linux training course set offered to business IT staff would be
successful, but real certifications would be required.
