Take a look at some of the laptop printers you can find. They're
delightfully compact and made for getting bounced around. If you can get a
line on 2nd hand (I miss quest computers and Keith) then that might be
ideal.
Try putting out a wanted post on craigslist, kijiji and freecycle. See what
turns up. Also saskatoon yard sale, and the newsgroups alt.sask.forsale and
alt.usask.forsale (might have those off a bit)

Subject: in car printer

err, anyone suggest a printer that would be sturdy enough to use in a
car/minivan? I was thinking something like the old Canon BGC2100 (we only
need black anyway) and take it in at night so it doesn't freeze, or a laser
(with an inverter) Probably run an EEE PC type unit in the car connected
via 1x or such.
