I have received several requests for these servers and there's probably
enough to go around.
Within the next two weeks I will finalize the quantity and type of
machines available and send this list out to all who replied. At that
point I would need an official request, preferably on letterhead if
available, with a brief description of the organization and the number of
servers required. We do not need the recipients to be a registered
charitable organization and do not need receipt for tax purposes.
I will be in touch with all of you as soon as possible.

Re: Servers to a good home
Greetings!
I'm chairman of the local school community council (used to be school
board)
at LeRoy, SK, and I have two possible candidates for some of these
servers:
the local school, and a local youth group that has set up in the basement
of
the Baptist Church calling themselves Community Integration Agents (CIA).
The
youth group has received a $5,000 grant the last two years running for the
stuff they are doing (pays utilities at the church, plus buys some stuff)
and
was set up to help integrate the new immigrants (lots of Chinese,
Filipinos
and Ukrainians coming in to work at the pig barns and local industry (14
families in the last 2 years, with a local population of about 500 in town
and
another 700 in the RM))
I would love to see some of these machines go to either of these
candidates.
