Okay, I've just tried this. Last night, it seemed to download
everything on the whole site, but I couldn't find where it'd put them.
Tonight, after running the two commands you suggested, I went looking
for where it'd put the data it got, and discovered all the stuff I'd
downloaded last night.
I couldn't seem to find where it'd put tonights efforts, so I tried
again, attempting to send the stuff to a file on my desktop.
After running the two commands, I came up with one file on the Desktop
containing 9 URLs, none of which opened anything because they tried to
find it on my machine.
I have a suspicion I didn't do something right, but I can't say what it is.
On the other hand, I do have the whole site on my machine now, though in
a complex form.
However, if I want to try this again, I should know more about what I
want to do. For instance, is there a way to save the data to a
particular folder?
Thanks again,
JimW
