ASUS Eee PC - A new owner

Just picked up my own ASUS Eee PC from OTV.

$429 for the 4GB 701 model.

It takes a bit of getting used to when trying to type,
but certainly better than using a Blackberry. I like
it and it will come in useful at my next boardroom
meeting.

Also, being a Linux PC (out of the box), I'm happy to
show my support for this little device.

I was quite impressed at the resolution of the
built-in webcam. Even in low light, I get a pretty
good picture. Now, I just have to add a few more
Debian repositories and add a couple more applications
I want installed and I'll be set.

OTV had four units left as of 6:45 pm this evening.
They
ve sold out once already... probably will do so again
before the holidays, I'm sure.
