Since every computer I work on other than my own is running windows, I
format my cards/usb/eternal HD as fat32... didn't know that wouldn't save
permissions on it.
Still doesn't explain why I can't save the settings on my system. Not sure
what the default format is for xandros, it's on the charger right now.
