That makes sense for mail clients but is not an option for someone running
their own mail server. The root of the problem is SMTP wasn't designed
for the Internet of today. It was designed for slow, unreliable network
connections with mail being exchanged by trusted memebrs. Not the high-
speed free-for-all we have today.
