Right, but in the future, you could use the one-chapter-per-file
workflow with TeX and still enjoy the benefits of formatting and type
setting, while also getting the setup you want for organizing your book.
It might be possible to script the conversion as well; I know TeX tools
a lot better than I know RTF stuff.
