There were six of us in attendance, including the youngest SLG member
AFAIK, my daughter Audrey, aged two-and-a-half :)

She is a real Linux user though; she uses Ubuntu and recognizes the
dreaded M$ logo on sight (and she thinks Steve 'Monkeyboy' Ballmer is
absolutely hillarious BTW ;)

Her favorite programs are Linux Letters and Numbers (package
"lletters") and Gnome's Mahjongg (the "same game" :). She also uses
gedit, eye of gnome (Gnome's image viewer), XMMS and Fala, a frontend
for the festival speech synthesizer

For her very small hands, I bought a $20 USB travel mouse at London
Drugs; its perfect for her :)

and how I cringed when I read that on the ML as it reminded me of why
we have so few women in attendance ;p

We tried loading an Ubuntu Feisty 64-bit Live CD in a Dell laptop and
everything was detected and worked... except for the wireless ^^; The
Broadcom chipset is likely the problem; if you want to try ndiswrapper
with these or similar instuctions:
