meetings on campus

If the Linux group on campus has the status of campus club, we just need
one person in our group who is eligible to join that club. They can then
book meeting rooms for us. The Saskatoon Chess Club:

does this through the U of S Gamers Club for their weekly gatherings and
for a few tournaments from September throught June.
