I was thinking back to the 1990s when we used to have things like Star
Trek breakfast (at Louis'), met in the physics student lounge, and had
Andres Shiffler, but I was not directly involved at the time. I still
think it could be useful if we do go through correct channel, we just
need to investigate the channels used 10 years ago.

Perhaps they have meetings on campus and would be interesting in
time-sharing the area. We could combine like a Voltron of FOSS to serve
the needs of an air conditioned meeting area, and also Ubuntu
dissemination (hehe).
