Don't listen to Dylan... he doesn't know anything about fixing tvs. ;-)

He is right, though, that it is probably not the tube. It could very
likely be your flyback transformer, or HOT. Sometimes those go due to
dried out capacitors nearby, so you need to look for those too. TVs are
generally quite repairable. Whether or not it's financially worthwhile
is up to you.
