I'm done with having a completely broken distribution. I finally tried
the 2.6.20-16, and instead of simply locking the network stack (which
2.6.20-15 did whenever I copied a file or used MythTV), it locks the
entire machine completely. Fantastic. There are plenty of
well-documented ways of upgrading to newer Ubuntu distributions, but I
haven't run across any methods for downgrading same.
Has anyone a method with which I could do this in a sane fashion (and
doesn't install a clean reinstall from a 6.10 disk)?
