systrace <http://www.citi.umich.edu/u/provos/systrace/> can help. You
can limit socket related calls to specific addresses, and in
interactive mode it will prompt you for calls that don't already have
a policy set.
I used to always use it on OpenBSD to run apps that were only
available as binary, and occasionally used it to run pieces of
malware.
