This one that drives me nuts: People are given a user name and password
for their email client. They click the "remember my password" box and
then when they have a problem and you need to know their password they
tell you they never had one.

I'm not tech support but I often get asked to help with computer
problems. Today someone wanted to know why the shortcuts to her images
didn't work. Answer: The shortcut linked to images attached to emails
she'd deleted.

Ah well there are a lot of things I'm very stupid at.
