It was my inelegant way of asking where I could download it. I tried to
google it up, but failed.
It seems that I have the same success that Synaptic had. Each mirror
I've tried so far gives me some 404 message:
The requested URL
/mirror/ubuntu.com/pool/main/l/linux-source-2.6.20/linux-image-2.6.20-14-386_2.6.20-14.22_i386.deb
was not found on this server.
I can't get the kernel source with the same revision to do a DIY kernel,
and using the raw 2.6.20.7 that works fine on my other machine is also a
no-go: initramfs builds a 27mb initrd file, while all the Ubuntu images
use an 8mb version. I suspect that means it failed it some way. I
haven't had a chance to boot it because I went to bed at that point.
