Since I seem to have more and more machines which run Ubuntu
(workstation, mythbox, several VMware images I've been using, etc), I'm
starting to run into the issue where downloading 1gb of updates/box is a
bit silly. Is there an easy way to cache apt? I was thinking I could
setup a transparent proxy through Squid on my border machine + the
apropos iptables rules, but this could cause regular web traffic to
evict Ubuntu packages from my cache.
How should one handle larger groups of boxes?
