Is it just MythTV that has problems playing video, or are other players
like mplayer affected as well. I've had no trouble using Beryl and
playing video (using xv) at the same time with my Geforce 7600GT. The
video even deforms with the wobbly windows and blur effects. As unit3
pointed out, make sure you are using nvidias drivers and not the "nv"
Xorg driver.
