Edgy just did another wonderful thing today. I have my MX-1000 setup
and working correctly with all the side buttons working. I went ahead
and plugged in a Logitech MX-510, and it also worked (including side
buttons) with no fuss/muss.
Once plugging in hardware gets to the level of "just working," all you
have to sort out are apps that just work :) Hooray for Ubuntu.
