The big value I see in buying one is not having to go through all the
hassle of trying to get a refund on the "MS Tax". Since the release of
Vista I've decided to swear off MS products completely, so that would be
an issue for me.

Also, it'd be nice to know the hardware works Linux before you buy it
and find out that they decided to change some component without
renumbering the model, rendering all your careful research null and void...
