This seems like really *bad* advice as opposed to the slightly more
difficult but more compatible procedure of setting up a 32 bit chroot
environment:

I've been using the 32 bit chroot method of running 32 bit apps under a
64 bit install for a couple of years now, and I've never run into any
problems.
