That's an interesting comparison. I would have to say no though. At the
time of ME, there was a competent Windows one could obtain, Windows 2000
Professional. (I know, I know I know). So If in fact, Vista is as much
of a stinker as it appears in some ways, it would be way worse, as there
is no alternative other than just sticking with XP, which will
increasingly be more and more difficult to buy on new PC's
Interesting aside. did you know there was no way to "upgrade" from ME to
2K? had to be a fresh install.
