I found an old .Xmodmap that worked fine before, but was causing
confusion. The Gentoo wiki was pretty helpful since they go over it
from first principles. The Ubuntu wiki was less helpful, because it's a
copy&paste fest from other instructions (sometimes to contradictory
results).

Xorg 7.1 shouldn't need any configuration with these mice. The
Xbindkeys program they mention allows me to have forward and back
buttons, but I'd much rather have previous and next tab (I can't find
the key combination that'll do this in FF, though, :().
