Asterisk experimentation made dead simple

Greetings all,

If you've been waiting for an easy opportunity to experiment with
Asterisk, wait no longer.

Digium has released AsteriskNow (http://asterisknow.org/), in beta,
which installs a customized asterisk running linux, including GUI config
options. AND... they have it available as ISO, LiveCD, or vmware image.
So with the free vmplayer or vmserver, you are looking at a great and
easy way to start playing. Even if you don't have an fxo for connecting
to a POTS line, you can still set up with something like FreeWorldDialup
or other options (or even follow some of Scott's other experiments
mentioned in earlier emails).
