Sigh.
This day sucks.
- First, BigPipe loses a router. This kills all AB VPN's into the
network. We advise them to re-route to Saskatoon's VPN. That works. Yeah!
- Then we have S'tel with unannounced router changes (or so they tell
us) SMTP, primary DNS and HTTP down for 13 hours in Regina now, routing
outgoing through Shaw in S'toon via S'tel's Lanspan. That doesn't cut it
when clients are trying to send files! Advising all clients to use the
S'toon FTP, and yes, there is a lot of blow-back. "Email is so easy to
attach files . . .etc" Sales are suffering and guess who they're calling?
- Now we have (http://www.hmdnsgroup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11127)
an OC3 cut in the States . . . an OC3 that I happen to have people I
support on.
Ghods, I need a beer, maybe two.
