bad partition

Hi everyone

I have a little bit of a problem , a bad ext2 partition hda5 to be specific

fdisk -l sees the partition however I cant mount it or run e2fsck
/dev/hda5 errors out
as does e2fsck -f -b 8193 /dev/hda5. any Repair methods out there that
have worked others?
