Customs was not interested in my computer at all going through U.S. Customs
at Vancouver (BC) airport and Canadian Customs at the Pacific Highway
crossing on Dec 26, Jan 5 respectively. Actually the U.S. Custom agent
asked no questions, the only comment he made was that I should renew my
passport (expired on Dec 31).

3 passes through airport security (Saskatoon, Vancouver->U.S and Vancouver->
domestic) on that trip and not once was my laptop even swabbed.
