Oh, I agree with that being useful for people without good graphics
cards, but it'd be nice if it *also* offered OpenGL acceleration if you do.

Personally, I think what we need is optimization work on Mesa so that
it's usable for most apps in software rendering mode for when there's no
hardware acceleration.

Network Manager, see package:

As well, network-manager-gnome, which provides a panel applet to manage
it. It's very nice for detecting and switching between different
available network connects (particularly on laptops), but it doesn't
make it easy to manually specify static IPs, which is what I'm hoping
exists in Feisty.
