Whee!
Came into a bit of mad money, so I picked up new guts for my Ubuntu box
at OTV:
- AMD Sempron64 processor
- MSI K9VGM-V m/b
- 2x512 MB PC6400 RAM
- 160 GB SATA HD
and it snaps along at a remarkable rate ... booting off the same 40 GB
IDE drive and 32-bit version of Ubuntu that I had running before on a
500 MHz P-III.
My plan was to install the 64-bit version of Edgy, but it appears the CD
I burned from the appropriate ISO using Brasero is a dud. Any
suggestions as to a more reliable Gnome-ish CD burning app?
