What's wrong with init? What doesn't it do well? Why do we need to
build a new Leatherman when we already have a perfectly good knife,
pliers, and screwdriver? Have you ever actually tried to use a
Leatherman to do real work?
It seems to me that Upstart is running contrary to the basic philosophy
of Unix:
(i) Make each program do one thing well. To do a new job, build afresh
rather than complicate old programs by adding new features.
