Everytime I look at computer prices, components are cheaper -- it's
always time for a new computer :D
Although RAM is finally starting to have some sanity asserted after a
150% price upgrade from Sept through Decemeber :(
400gb SATA drives are currently $166 at OTV, meaning I could build a 1TB
array pretty dang cheaply! Then I could not worry about running out of
disk space for a few months.
(Although I've found that dipping below $600 results in a computer
that's not very useful, no matter how much cheaper components get; a
quality motherboard, PSU, case, etc, seem to have certain minimums).
