I have the 1X data plan from Sasktel that I use with my bluetooth-
capable cell phone and my Apple Powerbook. It works great, though I
essentially have to be "self-supported". It's real IP access, so you can
run whatever you want over it (bandwidth and latency depending, of
course).

Note that the "unlimited" 1X plan actually means 200MB per month.
