Not only that, but if you're using the arrow keys on the keyboard to
scroll, they stop working when the cursor goes over the flash element.

But, that wasn't the final straw for me... I've long held that website
operators have a right to make money, and I have avoided installing an
ad blocker until recently. The final straw for me was flash elements
that fired a pop-up on a mouse-over event. If you carefully mouse
around the flash, the pop-up wouldn't happen, but as soon as the cursor
went over, it was there. I installed flashblock, and haven't been
happier since before aggressive flash ads. (If website operators want
my eyeballs, they can still use static ads, or even animated gifs.)
