Sun to open source Java

All signs point to Java being released GPL; won't that be nice? :-)

It seems Sun will open source their Java in 10 hours or so:

And according to the zdnet blog, Richard Stallman will endorse the
move by video during the web cast.

I wonder how long it will take before we have a brand new Java package
for Dapper/Edgy :)
