I was reading some complaints on the ncix forums with some Seagate SATA-II
drives not playing well with SATA-I boards. It could be dodgy firmware on
the drives, similar to problems Western Digital had with some of their first
ATA-66 drives.
I was thinking I'd replace a few smaller drives in my workstation with one of
those cheap 320GB drives but I think I'll continue to wait.
