Edgy frustration.

        Ok, I have a question about this Edgy upgrade. Before the upgrade
(Dapper), running mc would give me a nice ncurses interface for both
mortals and root. Now that Apollo is upgraded to Edgy, I find that mc
doesn't get a nice interface. Instead, I get a rough equivalent of the
previous 8-bit ASCII terminal characters. It makes it hard to use,
because all the lined-up stuff is corrupted. This is the same problem
that occurs on CentOS, but Slackware is unaffected.
        This affects sshing in from MacOS, Slackware, and Ubuntu.

        Any ideas how I can fix my interface? I used to think it had something
to do with the termcap, but I've copied over termcaps from different
systems to no effect :/
