Office Installfest

Just wanted to remind anyone interested that tomorrow (Saturday, November 4th)
I'll be hosting a Linux installfest at the office I work at (Wardrop
Engineers) and anyone from the SLG is welcome to stop by and visit.

I've schedule six installs of Mandriva 2007 to take place between 10:00am and
2:00pm. But, aside from the installs, a few other co-workers of mine are
planning to show up to simply watch and chat about Linux.

We won't be scheduling any more installs at this time, but you are still
welcome to stop to chit-chat. I'll have my desktop PC from the office set-up
so people to test drive Mandriva 2007 with the Xgl 3D interface, as well as
an Ubuntu Edgy PC a co-worker of mine (who's also a Linux gear head) set up.
And just for good measure, I'll have an old PII Toshiba laptop with Puppy
Linux installed just to show people how well Linux runs on older hardware.

Last but not least, I'll be handing out official copies of Mandriva 2007 One
CDs (this is the live/install CD) and few other goodies to people who happen
to stop by.

If anyone is interested, Wardrop is located in the Saskatoon Square building
downtown. We'll be on the first floor, but come to the inside door, next to
the elevators (not the outside street doors). Look for the penguins. ;)
