Regarding upgrading from Dapper to Edgy, as per the informal poll on
http://ubuntuforums.org/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=1099 about
1-in-5 people had "serious problems" and it "went really badly" for
about 1-in-4.

My upgrade was not too bad, but I also had tried to upgrade Kurtis'
computer and that was a series of problems ending with it failing
badly.

Installing from the Live CD, based on the reports I've been reading
(and me having used it on Kurtis' computer) works like a charm for
just about everyone who's tried it though, so it might be worth it for
most people to backup their home dir, do a clean install and then
replace the home dir.

CK

(hopefully Edgy -> Feisty will be less trouble :)
