Hi everyone:

Not too sure how many of you are aware yet, but the beta for Flash 9 has
FINALLY been released for download from Adobe. You can get it and try it
from their website.

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html

I have been trying it out and it is quite stable on my system, although
they do warm that it is still prone to crashing. The Audio/Video sync
problems are now fixed, and the program uses ALSA for audio meaning it
will mix while I am playing music or something else. It also is not as
demanding on the CPU meaning things work much faster and nicer. I don't
have to turn off the governor on my laptop to watch video on youTube now.

Well that's about two hours of my life wasted when I should be doing
other things, like working. Bah... I think I will stay up anyway and
view all those sites that we linux folk were locked away from accessing
because we didn't have Flash 9.
