Master Boot Record

I need to re-install Windows, as I need to downgrade from the 64bit
version to the 32bit version to run some of my electronics software.
This will of course wipe my MBR, preventing me from booting Linux. My
ideal solution to this problem would be to copy the MBR to a CD (I don't
have a floppy drive) so that I can still boot Linux after the Windows
install and run the grub-install command to return everything back to
normal. I'd like this to go as smoothly as possible, as I ran into some
hell when I upgraded my hard drive and would not like to repeat the
experience. Would anyone be able to help me achieve this task? It's been
many years since I made a boot disk ,and I've never made a Linux boot
disk before.

Thanks,
Reid
