I don't think thats true. My family calls me all the time (from three
provinces) and I don't pay incoming LD at all. I pay normal air time,
but not LD. I only pay LD on calls I place to outside my local
calling area - which is whatever city I'm in.

I haven't used my cell in the US yet. Though if you stand on the
south shore of Victoria you start roaming on the US network :-D
