We have a Dell 8 port web managed switch at work to provide an isolated
GbE between our servers that works great. I think it was around $130 on
sale in January. It does all the essential stuff you'd expect from a
managed switch, just through the web instead of SNMP.
Look for the PowerConnect 2700 series, I think there are 8, 16 and 24 port
models.
