Latest news on Daffy Duck, from the Wagner Single-boot

For all Conrad's prophecies of doom and gloom, I've had no problem
getting the printer working.

Last time around, I had no success with printing from the GIMP, until
Conrad looked at it and said "Oh, yeah." and twiddled something.

This time around it refused to print at all, so I set the printer up,
driver and all, and away it went.

Went out looking at USB drives. Staples on 8th st. had them ranging in
price from 124 dollars down to 30. I decided I'd have to wait a bit,
then went out and noticed London Drugs next door. They have a 128 meg
for 20 bucks, so I bought one.

While I was plugging it in, my wife looked at the instructions, and red,
"Linux kernel 2.4.2 or higher, no driver needed."

So I've put a bit of stuff on it already, and thought it was time to let
people know what fun I'm having.

Aside from two monstrous West-facing Windows and no AC. :-)
