No, it was the one Conrad so carefully labelled "Alternate Install."

The problem was that I'd gotten about four hours' sleep the night
before, and hazily answereed 'yes' when it asked if it shuld format all
40 gigs of the drive. No one to blame but myself.

Dual-boot. But I'd been using the Windows side for a long time simply
for extra storage. I don't think I'm likely to miss it badly, save for
a place to open foreign dictionary data-bases, then save the contendts
to OpenOffice, or the like.
