Testing Daffy Duck

Well, I've got the new Ubuntu (Daffy Duck) up and running.

Despite all efforts to the contrary I appear to have lost all my e-mail
addresses.

I am therefore sending this in just to make sure it sticks.

I have the Ubuntu version of OpenOffice up, which apparently does not
have a Thesaurus. Whenter or not I can stand to stay up late enogh to
download and install the "real" Open Office, is anyone's guess.

Oh, yes. I shosuld check and see if I can print anything, shouldn't I?
Conrad was hinting at great horrors in store.
